Locals and helpers share their experiences, the ongoing aftermath, and hopes for the future. For filmmakers Philipp Sterk and Malte Krause (residents of Blessem) the project is deeply personal. Originally planned as a cultural portrait of their village, the film shifted focus after the flood. More than a documentary, it’s a heartfelt chronicle and historical record of a community forever changed.
