Founded by Malte Krause & Philipp Sterk in 2019, ROOFLESS PRODUCTION GbR is known for producing award-winning high quality films that bring untold stories to life through creative and innovative visuals.

Equipped with a diploma in film and television, we have mastered the roles of author, cinematographer, and editor.

​To achieve our artistic ambitions, we use cameras that can capture up to All-Intra Cine 4K resolution, only the finest lenses, and numerous special filming techniques and technologies. These include multiple camera systems, Lights and Grip, a full equipped Post Production and gyro-stabilized motion devices such as drones and gimbals.

Rooted near Cologne’s golden fields, Roofless stands for freedom and creativity beyond the usual way. What began with childhood adventures grew into a passionate pursuit of storytelling through film.
